What would you do to clear your mind of all problems?

I have a few mid terms exam coming up next week, and there's so many things on my mind right now. Even had a bad dream about these problems today. But I should be studying right now instead of going crazy.

So, what do you think I should do to clear my mind? What would you do to clear your mind of all problems?
ok this a very common situation ... it happens when it's so frustarting when u'r trying to study n innumerable thots start coming to the mind .. like when it ws my science exam it ws like i opened my physics chapter bt felt like studying chemistry then all of a sudden i used to feel ';ohh...there is a lot of course ..i'd do it later'; ... actually i kno how wrong i am ... bt i jus can't help it .. i tried several methods ..to reduce my distraction ..like = motivating self talk , staring at my notebook till tears come out .. thinkin abt god .. praying ... bt i find everythn useless .. in the end it's our own will n determination tht helps us study .. i'll advise u to sit in a corner , wash ur face .. first try nt learing bt wat u already kno abt the study material ... then read once n question urself .. then read once agen .. once u have a better understanding ..u'll gain interest ..when u gain interest u'll start enjoying studying ... n when u start enjoying studying .. u'll be able to get good marks ...

bt remember it's only u .. n jus u who can make urself study .. n don't study fr the sake of studying .. study to gain the undefined , unfound , n unending knowledge .. best of luck !

now get off ur comp n start studyinWhat would you do to clear your mind of all problems?
pray.
You need a few hours out of the house to get some fresh air and just relax and enjoy the day.
get a really really good book. one that you have wanted to read but couldn't because you dont have enough time for it or one that really inspired you. sit somewhere nice and cozy and read.

if you are not a reader, watch a really really good movie. one that you've seen preferably but remember scant details only.
I Usually Smoke to resolve my problems.Sorry I can't recommend anything for you,
Rigorous exercise.
If you have bad dreams, this means step away.

You need to clear and rest that mind. It is like working hard on an empty stomach,

sooner or later you crash. Even if it is for just 1 hour, your mind will work better afterwards.

Do something you love to do. A short nap or a walk, sports, even just reading.

What works for me is to listen to music.

Good luck %26amp; Good day!
I say buy a Sodalite pendant and wear it around your neck. Sodalite is the stone of calmness, and is useful in situations in which you need to be wise and use your intellect, i.e. an exam.

';But I should be studying right now instead of going crazy.'; well, that right there is not the attitude that will help. There is a drama excersise that I did once that made me so calm and relaxed all day. You might feel silly doing this, but it works, trust me.

You lie flat on the floor. (Hang on. Get up, mate. I can't help you if you're on the floor. Lie down when you've read this.) Pretend you are lying on a towel at the beach. The sand beneath you is warm and soft, and it moulds to the shape of your body. You are listening to calming music (doesn't have to be classical, can be any genre, as long as it relaxes you. I listen to Seether while doing this excersise, or The Rasmus.) or the sound of the ocean waves gently coming towards you, and then receding. Clear your mind, and just lie there peacefully. Get up when you feel peaceful, and say the first word that comes to your mind which describes what you were thinking about, or how you felt.

I was given an Angel Worry Box by my mother, which is a small cardboard chest (only about 5cm high, 8cm deep and 3 cm wide) covered in silver material, containing a small glass angel with a halo and wings set in foam. On the inside of the box is a poem, which I would write down if I could be bothered to go and find the box in my battlezone bedroom. You tell the angel what you are worried about, and just imagine your angel absorbing this information and emitting positive energy towards you. Thank the angel for listening and close the box, then resume what you were doing.
Decide to set aside those problems and start studying. Bring out those books, notes and other reading materials for study and review. Make a schedule which subjects you would study first. Those problems are nothing when you make it in your exams. Good luck!
