im so busy nowadays that i can hardly think straight or prioritize anymore. i just want to wake up every day with a clear mind for the day, and that seems to be a thing of the past for me. any help on how to just relax i guess and take things a day at a time? thanks buddiesHow do you achieve clear thoughts and a clear mind?

What you're describing is very, very, common of adults in this day and age. There are simply too many things to worry about and too many problems to solve for the brain to be ';clear';, at least without any help.
Still, there are things you can do to try to clear your mind:
1. Meditation: This has been and will be mentioned many times, simply because it works. All you need is a quiet place and some patience. Google around for ';breathing meditation'; for an easy way to get started.
2. Improve your diet: you don't have to go crazy with this one, just make sure you are not eating junk. Your brain cannot be chilled out and calm and be fed a sub par diet at the same time. Healthy eating is no longer a mystery, you can easily find resources online.
3. Get more sleep. Nice and simple: try just 30 more minutes a night, and see if it makes any difference.
4. Experiment with herbs: There are a lot of herbs out there, so make sure you research a bit. You can start out with the ';tried-and-true'; ones like Ginkgo, Ginseng ... and later on experiment with other ones like L-Theanine and Valerian root. All of these are natural and could offer some help.
5. Put things into perspective: Remember that as far as the universe is concerned, your issues don't really mean much in the grand sense. Let go a little and you'll find that you can relax more.

Go out for a run and allow all your anxiety and worries to be released. Or you can relax in a hot bath which will easily calm your mind. Realize that a great portion of your negative thoughts are exaggerated, and it is best to replace them with positive more realistic thoughts.
Struggles are only temporary and you must not overcommit to factors fitting to your lifestyle - that will only lead to disappointment. Accept what you must and change what you can. Sometimes it is best to not force a solution but to go about for your life and let time carry you. You will acquire a clear mind once you allow yourself to let go of grief and move forward.
people are going to tell you to meditate. they're going to tell you to take a deep breath and to plan and to try to take the world one step at a time.
i say, who the **** cares? embrace the chaos. embrace the unpredictable. embrace the **** that goes in in everyday life. go with the flow. no one cares. you don't care. you're going to die anyway. die and rot.
