How can I clear my mind?

I need to clear my mind from all of the stresses form school home etc. Please how does one clear their mind and focus on the things that they need to get done instead of procratinating. ThankyouHow can I clear my mind?
If you have to do something, and you know that it calls for a lot of your attention, cut off those things that are distracting you and focus on what you need to only.

Clearing your mind is easy. Know what is blocking you, and push those things aside, to think about only when you have to. Remember all thought comes from out of silence, worrying makes you forget this.

If you think things are getting to out of control, take some time for yourself where you can relax and soak in some clarity away from your busy life style, and your many thoughts. :)How can I clear my mind?
To clear the mind, I'd say have a relaxing night to yourself. But I would recommend this after you finish what you need done, or else you will never get it off your mind if you're like me.

For me, when I need to focus, I make a list of everything that needs to be done. I start with the easier taks, and mark it off when I'm done. I love the feeling of accomplishment when the entire list is gone, or even five things. It really helps, getting you organized especially if you love to feel accomplished.
I once heard of a something called Mental Judo - maybe there's something about it on the Net. The idea I remembered was that you close your eyes and you are a Judo Master - like the guy in Matrix - and you are alone in a big room.

Then one by one - or sometimes in groups - various thoughts come to you - like they want to attach themselves to you, and then they want to be ';thought'; by you. But as they approach you, you gently move them aside because you're the Judo expert.

Judo is unlike Karate in that Judo is often very peaceful. If a man hits at you with his fist, you don't hit him back or hit his arm - you simply put up your open hand and correct his blow slightly so that his fist misses you. No hurry - No scurry.

And this way, you can keep the thoughts you would think from being thought - does this make any sense? And for various periods of time, your mind can be ';empty';. This gives you a rest from all those thoughts and prepares you to think the things which you need to think.
stress is normal. procrastination is normal. people without stress and those who don't procrastinate are the freaks. they're incredibly advantaged freaks who will probably make six figures, mind you, but they're freaks nonetheless. try yoga or pilates if you feel like clearing out your mind. they may sound gay to you, but goddammit they work
Honestly, I'm in the same position, I know EXACTLY how you feel, life moves so fast and is so demanding.

I just lay back and listen to some music, trying to forget about what I need to do and simply ';mentally'; motivate myself to get the energy to get things done.
You could meditate. Deep breathing and thinking of happy things, things you like to do, lighting some inscents and some calming music helps too. Even laying down and having a nap could help. Or think of all the positive things that could come out of doing whatever you're supposed to be doing.
I used to have that problem too. Now, every morning, I write myself a list of things that I need to get done that day %26amp; refer to it often. I just check off things as they get done. It's easier because you don't have to remember everything off the top of your head.
Start writing a diary and record whatever is disturbing you. If you want to keep it from others, learn a shorthand such as Newrite or Handywrite!
