oh my goodness. yes. i am not generally a runner, but when i get angry i RUN a LOT. seriously i hadnt ran in about 4 months and i got REALLY angry and ran 4. 8 min miles! it was amazing. and it clears my mind the scorching pain of running almost burns reality into you.Does running help clear your mind? Where does it drift off to?
From what I know, running or jogging releases endorphins within our body/brain. These endorphins cause, for some reason,happiness/joy/etc causing what people would call a ';runner's high';
So whenever someone runs or jogs, they become ';happy'; due to the endorphins working. This ';happiness'; somewhat makes them forget about their problems/worries.
Yes. Running does clear your mind!
It takes your mind off what your usually thinking about or stressing about and you start to think of whats going on around you e.g. Do you know anybody that is driving past, what the wheather is like ect.
