How do I clear my mind from all the surrounding distractions and everything stuck in my head?

I can't take things anymore now that there are too many useless thoughts inside of my head, not to mention that there are a lot of distractions surrounding me and I can't concentrate on my work.

Suggestions? How do I clear my mind from all the surrounding distractions and everything stuck in my head?
Hello Erik,

Do not fight it. When it becomes a battle of will against your own thoughts, that will only stress you even more.

Imagine yourself as an observer instead. That means a certain emotional detachment. Let the thoughts go through your mind, and observe them. Almost like you are watching a movie. You watch the thoughts come, and go... and go they will, on their own.

If you feel yourself getting tense, it means you're back in your head. You need to back away again, back to your observing position. Or you can go one step further, and imagine you are observing yourself watching the movie.

Just try it!How do I clear my mind from all the surrounding distractions and everything stuck in my head?
Meditate to focus yourself.

Sit in a reasonably dark, comfortable place, turn a timer on for 10 minutes, and count your breaths silently, inhaling through your nose, exhaling through your mouth

In, 1, out, 2, in, 3... out, 10

Restart at 1 once you're done that. If you ever lose focus, start at 1 again.

Once you've done this a few times, count only on the in breath, then every other in breath, etc.

Repeat until your alarm goes off, and you should be ready to work again
be careful what you put in your head, garbage in garbage out.dont watch junk on t.v. ,be careful what you read, try to watch informational programs, try to reprogram your brain to possitive things
Allow yourself a certain amount of time to think only of that 1 thing. Really immerse yourself in it and then get it out of your system
