I believe that having a clear mind, and being focused can sometimes overpower strenght in athletics.
The mind is a great source of power.How can I keep my mind clear so i can be extremly focused, like kung foo fighters?
not too sure about a focused ming being able to overpower strength. But it does give u and edge if combined.
The only way i can think of is meditation. Its not as easy as u might think if u're a beginner, but its not something impossible either.
I'm also trying to make meditation a habit. Btw, i'm no expert. This is what i do.
-Get into a comfortable seating position.
-Close your eyes.
-Focus on your breathing. Breathe in and out slowly and in a controlled manner.
- if your mind wanders (which it definitely will) just gently pull it back to focusing on breathing.
-overtime you'll find that you can sustain that focus longer, and your mind tend to wander less.

Take up kung fu, or better yet, meditate and pray.
eat lots of rice, speak very little, and wax your car...lots!!!
Meditation helps.....plus using alligator clamps on your nipples will keep your mind really at the top of it's game.
meditate grasshopper, a lot...
